Okxdex: interpreting Extra in OKX DEX quotes
Extra shows the estimated improvement of an OKX DEX Aggregator+ quote over the standard aggregator swap quote. With Intent Swap active, OKX DEX displays Extra on the order panel. It helps compare quoted outcomes before settlement; the signed intent's minimum receive amount sets the condition that settlement must satisfy.

How does a quote become a settled result?
- Quotes return and a route is recommended. The Route field shows OKX Intent or OKX Aggregator according to the price comparison. Enabling Auto mode therefore leaves both execution paths available.
- When OKX Intent is selected, the signed intent specifies conditions such as a minimum receive amount. That amount is the settlement floor. Signing authorizes the order under its conditions without confirming receipt of tokens.
- Professional solvers compete in a batch auction. The winning solver submits the transaction for on-chain execution through the settlement contract.
- Successful settlement fulfills the intent's conditions, and confirmation establishes the completed swap. If the solver cannot fulfill the agreed price, the transaction reverts.
After confirmation, the transaction details are available in order history. Extra describes the earlier quote comparison; the completed transaction records the settled result.
Cancellation and order expiry
An intent can be cancelled off-chain before it enters the batch auction. Once a solver has been selected, cancellation is unavailable.
If no solver provides a valid quote or on-chain settlement fails, the system continues trying to fill the order until it expires after 5 minutes. That expiry limits the filling attempts; it does not guarantee completion within 5 minutes.

Does Extra mean that the swap has no fees?
- No. Extra is an estimated quote improvement. Intent Swap uses the same fee structure as standard OKX DEX Aggregator+ trades, with no additional fee for using Intent Swap. The solver covers gas during Intent settlement. A separate token-approval transaction, when required, can carry a network fee.
